NEW! PORTRAIT OF A FAMILY: a drama by Sarah Carleton
Portrait of a Family is a solo performance drama that tells the story of what it means to live in a mixed-race family that has been brought together through adoption. Through the avenues of dance, poetry, interviews, music, and storytelling Carleton explores the ways transracial adoption has influenced her life and view of the world. Reflecting the diversity of her own family, Carleton has worked to create a performance piece that uses diverse ways of helping audiences understand the changing face of adoption in the United States.

Summit VII will include a time for attendees to choose among several 1-hour “Roll Your Sleeves Up Now!” Service Fair opportunities. These on-site service projects will give you a chance to spend one hour on a physical project that benefits orphans in tangible ways. These service opportunities will be free to all Summit attendees.
